Visalia gets Pink!
If you weren’t at last Saurday night’s Meet & Greet you might have missed some great news! The Depot in Visalia has come on board as an official sponsor of Queer Visalia and will be co-hosting QV’s newest and coolest project in V-town: Pink Tuesday. As some of you may know, Queer Fresno co-hosts a similar event in Fresno’s historic Tower District with Bobby Salazar’s called Pink Wednesday. This will be a held every Tuesday evening beginning May 6th from 9pm to 9pm at The Depot’s main bar and lounge. (Instead of turning left to head towards the banquet room, you turn right and head through the double doors). Pink Tuesday is a time and space for Visalia’s GLBT community to come together and enjoy a happy hour type atmosphere where you can relax and unwind from a long, hard day at the office. The Depot will be providing free appetizers for the first hour of the event! Special kudos goes to Amarndo Apopdaca and all the fine staff at the The Depot for stepping up to the plate and becoming QV’s first official cash sponsor. In appreciation and support for everything The Depot has done for Queer Visalia and the GLBT community we will co-host this weekly event and doing everything we can to help make Pink Tuesday a fun, friendly event for everyone in our community. This is a public event and all are welcome so please bring your friends and coworkers and let’s show The Depot how much we appreciate their support of the local GLBT community! Hope to see you there and don’t forget to wear pink if you have it…I will! ![]()
